TRANSLOG Connect Congress 2021 – In focus: Flexibility and evolution of supply chains

The TRANSLOG Connect Congress, Central Eastern Europe’s leading regional logistics business gathering, is opening its doors to its seasoned and prestigous audience for the tenth time between 23-24th November.

Following last year’s enforced layoff, CEE logistics experts are gearing up with enthusiasm and energy for the eagerly-awaited resumption of live business meetings at the renowned logistics event in Budapest. Executives look to benefit from new information and solutions, as one or two spot on adjustments in their logistics operations thanks to ideas gathered at the event, could lead to substantial increase in efficiency of their supply chain and could contribute to their organisation’s overall success and profitability.

In many areas of the business world, recent time has been spent learning the art of being prepared for all possible scenarios and circumstances at all times, even for the least plausible ones.

For this reason, flexibility, the ability to adapt to sudden changes and to occasional shortages or disruptions has also been a priority in logistics and supply chain. This on one hand has presented enormous challenges, but on the other hand it has created new business opportunities and future growth potential for those who were able to tackle these issues.

Therefore, it is not surprising that several presentations and case studies – which will be running along many high level one-to-one business meetings – address this subject. Here are some examples:

Glocalisation of Supply Chains – How to run global & local Supply Chains effectively in parallel and the impact – Prof. Sebastian Kummer, Head of the Institute of Transport and Logistics, WHU;
