Turskish Erenli wraps up first phase of construction of factory in Leskovac
Turkish car components manufacturer Erenli has completed the first phase of the construction of its 16.6 million euro ($17.9 million) factory in Leskovac.
The automotive cooling systems factory will start operating around the middle of 2022 and will hire around 100 people at that time, and around 300 by the end of the investment cycle.
Erenli has invested around 5 million euro during the first phase of the construction works, said Erenli Managing Director Ercin Sahin during a news conference held at the construction site. He adds that the factory will reach its full capacity and hire 350 workers upon the finalization of the project in 2025.
The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić visited the construction site and emphasized the great political and economic relations between Serbia and Turkey.
– This is the twenty-third Turkish company in Serbia, and we believe we can attract many more – said President Vučić.
Erenli is vehicle parts manufacturer, and the vast majority of their production is aimed for the export to the countries such as Italy, Germany, USA, Spain, France, Finland. It has aroud 900 employees across all of its locations.
