RC Europe starts construction of Croatia’s largest logistics and production centre
RC Europe Group has begun construction works on the RC Zone Samobor project. Spanning across 170,000 square meters in the Bobovica economic zone, the site will feature an impressive 86,000 square meters warehouse facility for leasing.
According to future tenants’ needs, this versatile space can accommodate storage, production or office operations.
Antonín Dillenz, RC Europe CEO, expressed excitement about this significant step in the investment project. Its completion is scheduled for late 2024, and strong tenant interest has already led to contract signings.
Moreover, a reputable construction contractor FACIES d.o.o. will ensure green and sustainable construction practices, pursuing BREEAM® certification and an ESG strategy. The project will incorporate a 7MW solar photovoltaic power plant, charging stations, a modern employee canteen, and other high-standard features.
The completion of the access road, including a bridge, roundabout, bicycle lane, and public parking, was a crucial prerequisite. This road, linking the economic zone with the nearby A3 highway, now belongs to the City of Samobor, but RC Europe aims to further invest in the economic zone’s traffic infrastructure. RC Zone Samobor signifies RC EUROPE’s commitment to the Croatian market, with future projects already in motion.
