Are you the 2025 Young Supply Chain Resilience Professional of the Year?
TAPA EMEA and TT Club, the independent provider of mutual insurance and related risk management services to the international transport and logistics industry, have announced their third annual competition to identify the ‘2025 Young Supply Chain Resilience Professional of the Year.’
In confirming its continued partnership with TAPA EMEA and sponsorship of the Award, Mike Yarwood, Managing Director, Loss Prevention at TT Club, commented:
– The need for focus on supply chain resilience and cargo security has never been greater. In addition to the growing threat of multi-faceted cargo crime, the world faces evermore complex economic, geopolitical, health, and environmental challenges. In this context, encouraging and rewarding young talent that strives to innovate and communicate with their peers to achieve greater security is an important and worthwhile pursuit. TT is therefore pleased to renew its allegiance to this award to attract and inspire the sharpest young minds in our industry.
The award aims to recognise the outstanding young talent excelling in the supply chain security industry and help to promote careers in the sector.
The first award winner in 2023 was Sjef Boekestijn of Boekestijn Transport Service for his entry on the creation of a new automated security auditing tool linked to clients’ Standard Operating Procedures. Last year, the honour went to Ivca Kaiserova, Senior Manager EMEA Security & Loss Prevention at Amazon, for her work on ‘The Predictive Threat-Based Design’ – a solution using data sources and other external intelligence data to minimise supply chains losses.
Marcel Saarloos, Chair of TAPA EMEA, said:
– Growing awareness of the importance of resilient global supply chains is helping attract more young people to pursue careers in our industry, and it’s our role to actively encourage this. The TAPA EMEA and TT Club ‘Young Supply Chain Resilience Professional of the Year’ award is one of the ways we can do this. I ask all TAPA EMEA members to share information on this award with their own networks of young professionals and to encourage them to enter.
Using the official entry form, you will be asked to explain an innovative cargo security or supply chain resilience initiative you have developed or contributed significantly to, including addressing new or emerging security threats to supply chains.
