Kombiverkehr Enhances Duisburg-Wels Connection with FRACHTbahn Partnership

Kombiverkehr has announced a new partnership with FRACHTbahn Traktion GmbH to improve the quality of service and planning for freight forwarders and logistics companies along the Duisburg-Wels route, despite ongoing challenges.

The company is confident that the reorganization efforts will help restore the route to a satisfactory level of service. With high motivation from the management team to every train driver, the goal is to overcome the current difficulties and enhance service reliability.

As part of its current Austrian transport services, Kombiverkehr offers the Duisburg-Wels and Ludwigshafen/Munich-Wels connections. These routes run three times a week in each direction. Additionally, Kombiverkehr provides onward transport services from Duisburg, Munich, and Ludwigshafen to other parts of Germany, as well as connections to Sweden, Norway, Benelux, France, and Spain. From Wels, connecting services are available to Vienna, Budapest, Nis, and within Austria.
