First postal drone delivery tested in Slovenia

Slovenia’s postal company, Pošta Slovenija, tested the first drone delivery in Slovenia today sending a parcel up to Vršič.

In collaboration with the OneDrone company, Pošta Slovenija successfully delivered a parcel high up to the Vršič mountain pass. Officials from the post office say the main advantages of using drones include reducing pollution, optimising logistics routes, and the fast delivery of essential goods and materials to remote areas, like for example mountain huts.
