The end of the service life of older DarsGo units and their replacement

The Slovenian DarsGo informed the users of DarsGo system, i.e. the electronic tolling system in free traffic flow, which applies to vehicles whose maximum permissible weight exceeds 3.5 tonnes, that we are approaching the period when the DarsGo units issued in the first half of 2018 will reach the end of their service life and will be recalled and replaced with new ones.

As part of the recall, DarsGo units approaching the end of their service life will emit an audible warning – two beeps – when passing a tolling gantry.

The first DarsGo units approaching the end of their service life will be recalled and replaced in October 2022.

– Please inform your drivers that they will need to have their DarsGo unit replaced at the nearest “DarsGo servis” office if they hear the audible warning described above. Replacement is free of charge – company stated.

Units that emit only one sound signal (beep) while passing through tolling gantries do not need to be replaced and can continue to be used normally.
